NEW AND EXPANDED CONTENT!
We have re-organized and expanded our SOWeR hymns and music page, not only making it more searchable but also adding much more information for our subscribers. Each hymn on our site now has its own web page,with text-only lyrics for use in bulletins and overhead projection, downloadable image files with words and music, lead sheets with guitar chords, as well as pdf files of full hymn scores from the ReClaim Hymnal.

This is a work in progress; it will take some time to complete all of the hymns. Be sure to check back as our online repertoire of music keeps growing!

1 Onward, Christian soldiers, Marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus Going on before.
Christ, the royal master, Leads against the foe;
Forward into battle, See, his banner go!

Refrain:
Onward, Christian soldiers, Marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus Going on before.

2 Like a mighty army Moves the Church of God;
Let us boldly follow Where the saints have trod.
We are not divided; All one body we:
One in hope and doctrine, One in charity. [refrain]

3 Crowns and thrones may perish, Kingdoms rise and wane,
But the Church of Jesus Constant will remain;
Gates of hell can never 'Gainst the Church prevail.
We have Christ's own promise, And that cannot fail. [refrain]

4 Onward, then, you faithful, Join our happy throng;
Blend with ours your voices In the triumph song.
Glory, laud, and honor Unto Christ the king.
We through countless ages With the angels sing: [refrain]
